Credit Creation Overview

All credits and refunds for normal cash sales and account customers begin with the Enter Credit Transaction screen.

To create and maintain credit notes, you need to complete these steps:

  1. Either:
  1. Enter or maintain the credit note header details where you can optionally load an invoice to be credited.

Refer to "Maintaining the Credit Transaction Header".

  1. Add or maintain the items to be credited.

Refer to "Entering the Credit Note Lines".

  1. Edit other credit note details if required.

Refer to "Enter Credit Transaction - Menu Options".

  1. Manage the completed credit note, e.g. print or hold the credit note.
